The deadline for entering your 2013 suspense or mystery novel in the Gunny award competition has been extended until December 31st. Your book can be an ebook or a print book. You must be registered for Cape Fear Crime Festival to win, but you don't have to be present at the ceremonies (though we'd love to have you there!)
The Gunny Award consists of this handsome plaque and a cash prize of $100!

Entries MUST be received by November 1st, 2013
The Gunny Award will be presented on Saturday afternoon at the close of the festival. Winner will also receive a $100 prize to help further their writing efforts.
The Gunny will be presented to the best mystery or suspense novel, published in 2013, of 50,000 to 100,000 words. One book, electronic or print, per author. No exceptions! Entrants must be registered guests for the event, but they do not have to be present to receive it.
Registered guests who have a book they wish to have entered in the contest should send the title, ISBN, and book cover to firstname.lastname@example.org after paying festival registration fee, along with one PDF copy of the book You will be informed of your entry receipt. Book titles and authors in the running for the award will be listed at the Cape Fear Crime Festival blogsite.
